COMpact 5200

A small-office initiative from Auerswald: modern communication for everybody!

With regard to the most efficient channels of communication, small to medium-sized businesses have often been left out in the cold: If their existing infrastructure was based on analogue or ISDN technology, there was no way to link up to modern standards. So far.

What you may call a “small office” ...

Just like the term “medium-sized”, “small office” is a category which somehow evades precise definition. It ranges from a one-man business in a shared office to companies in the manufacturing sector with dozens of employees.

One determining factor is the total number of telephone connections, and often a little trick is quite helpful: Although the number of internal VoIP channels is limited and thus rules the number of simultaneous VoIP connections, the system hardly ever reaches its maximum capacity. That’s why at Auerswald we’ve developed “VOC” (VoIP over-commitment) which allows you to register and use more VoIP telephones than defined by the number of available internal VoIP channels. Depending on the system load, you can always register up to 32 VoIP subscribers.

Unified Communication – where all threads converge

By integrating several services in a single system, modern workplaces gain considerably in comfort and efficiency. In order to facilitate the start, we can offer you PBX Call Assist 2 – a custom-tailored UC solution for up to 40 users which includes CTI applications, presence management and Instant Messaging.

Sustainability – not just a slogan!

As far as climate protection is concerned, this compact system has quite a few things up its sleeve, too: Auerswald is the first manufacturer in the world to have its ITC systems certified by the eco label “Blue Angel”.

Background information: What is the Blue Angel, and what does it have to do with our ITC systems?   Read more ...

Law firms

Small companies in particular tend to calculate all investments, such as a new PBX system, with a sharp pencil. Therefore, it’s good to know that a COMpact 5200 not only uses existing analogue lines, but also integrates analogue and ISDN devices. Whatever, modern comfort will take over: An automated attendant directly connects every caller with the desired contact person, and once the DATEV software is integrated in the PBX system, all client data will appear on screen immediately. Making a call takes no more than a mouseclick, e.g. through Outlook. Even the accounting benefits from the collected data since the duration of each call is automatically recorded. And the app “PBX Control” enables you to retrieve voicemails and faxes on the go and conveniently control vital functions with your smartphone.

We call it “fully modular”. This means: your needs are crucial.

Can you say what your needs will look like in the future? This compact communication server for up to 32 workplaces lets you remain on the safe side thanks to its full modularity: You won’t have to buy a new system if you want to convert to a different telephone connection, and should your company grow, expanding the system to comply with any new requirements is easily done. Either by activating access via our own “Online Upgrade Center” or by purchasing an appropriate module. The COMpact 5200 symbolizes versatility – here’s a small choice of the many options you have.
