The COMfortel 3600 IP uses Android™ as operating system which enables you to operate the display just like a smartphone. What’s more, you can upgrade this phone with apps as you wish – whether they are freely available or natively programmed, such as time schedules or room allocation plans. The high-resolution touch display invites you to personalize it in several ways: five “buttons” can be programmed for immediate touch function, in addition you have five freely assignable screens reserved for apps, icons and widgets.
Actually encrypted in a virtual environment
The COMfortel 3600 IP not only features an integrated VPN client to safely connect and encrypt external extensions (home offices) to the system. Virtual networks (VLAN) are also fully supported. That means your phone and a connected PC may be operated in different VLANs, although physically they share one and the same network. Phone calls are always top priority, of course.

COMfortel® Xtension300
You can attach up to three key extension modules COMfortel Xtension300. In the maximum configuration, you will get 90 additional one-touch destination and/or function keys.
COMfortel® XT-PS
In case your COMfortel 3600 IP is power-supplied via PoE (Power over Ethernet), you’d have to order a separate plug-in power supply unit (COMfortel XT-PS) to connect the first module COMfortel Xtension300. This power pack will supply all further modules. If your COMfortel 3600 IP, however, is fed through the plug-in power supply that’s included in the delivery, an additional power pack (COMfortel XT-PS) is required when connecting a second or third key extension.
Our phone models COMfortel 2600 IP, COMfortel 2600, COMfortel 3200 and COMfortel 3600 IP can be extended with key extension modules. In addition to the 15 keys of the phone, you can end up with 30, 60 or 90 additional function keys which can be programmed in any arrangement required – depending on the phone’s and the telephone system’s scope of performance – as one-touch destination, function, busy lamp, waiting queue and direct line keys. Each key has two levels so that you can control a total of 210 functions at the press of a key.
